Tom Beckett	General	The really stupid part of this is that ICE will now have to do a haz mat clean up on the power, or at least the leader, since paint is a flammable liquid, hazard class 3. It seems ridiculous, but that's how the rules are. I don't know if the fact that the paint will dry by the time the engine makes it to the shop makes any difference. I did haz mat training with a trucking company, and they showed the nose of a trailer where a load had shifted and broken open several five gallon pails of paint. The question was, "how much does this clean up cost??" I got a dirty look from the instructor when I suggested $100-two guys with brushes and rollers, and the front of the trailer has a new coat of paint. ICE 6411
ICE 6411 right after he hit a paint van next to the 108.2 detector on CP's Watertown Subdivision. The crew needed to be changed after the accident, 3 more eastbound trains backed up, and then one of them had their crew time out. The driver of the van got out of his vehicle and ran away from the tracks when the gates went down.
